Depends on the party you went to- if you're smart, you avoid American parties, because for 35-60 bucks, I don't want to hear "Turn My Swag On" if I'm coming from out of town. I could have stayed at my local spot for that sh*t. I hit an underground party Friday with a Trini DJ and had a ball, my band Carnival Nationz won Band of the Year this year, went to a local spot Saturday (definitely not on the visitors' radar), and went to another party (private) yesterday.
All depends on how you do it.
There weren't as many "names" coming through, hosting events, as there were in the past, but like I said, they tend to throw awful parties unless you like that sort of thing- crowded, mostly American music, and American guys. Not really my thing.

yeah highlights are expensive, so if she's going to want to continue with highlights throughout her high school career, you're gonna want her to pay for them from the beginning lol

I guess when I was 12 and 13 I would use Sun-In in my hair to lighten it and my mom didn't care...she also bought me hair color when i was 14 or 15, I went from blonde to black, I was supposed to wait for her to help me but did it on my own and missed some spots so I had my own brown highlights, but not in a good way...when my mom got home she just laughed at me
she also took me to get the "t-boz" haircut when I was 14
